On the façade in front of Piazza Indipendenza, among the irregularly shaped windows, you can read Benito Mussolini’s sentence: "The Italian people have created with their own blood the Empire, they will fertilize it with their work, they will defend it with their weapons against anyone". A further element which characterizes the lower part of the above-mentioned front is represented by the Spanish tombstone of 1604, evoking the existence of a well, about one hundred twenty metres deep. The façades overlooking on via Canelles and via Martini are on two floors and have windows with wrought iron railing balconies. In the inner façade of the building in front of via Martini, an elegant terracotta medallion in Liberty style, adorned with a female bust, is visible.
