SUBSONICA live (from 10.30 pm to 00.15 am)
Subsonica are an Italian electronic rock band born in Turin in 1996, by the union of some exponents of the alternative music scene: Max Casacci (producer and guitarist), Samuel (singer), Boosta (keyboard player), Ninja (drummer), and Pierfunk (bassist), later replaced by Vicio, in 1999.
In their career they have released 7 studio albums: "Subsonica" released in 1997, "Microchip emozionale" in 1999, "Amorematico" in 2002 which counts 100.000 copies sold, "Terrestre" in 2005, 110.000 copies sold, "L'eclissi" in 2007, "Eden" in 2011, platinum certificate, "Una nave in una foresta" in 2014, platinum. The 2008 collection "Nel vuoto per mano 1997/2007" is certified platinum.
The band, influenced by the most innovative musical languages, revolutionized the musical scene and created a very recognizable sound, combining electronic sounds with a typically Italian melodic incisiveness.
Subsonica have also won numerous prizes and awards, including: Amnesty Italia Prize, MTV Europe Music Award, Italian Music Award, Grinzate Cavour Prize, TRL Award, and a participation to Sanremo Festival.
In the end of 2018 , they have published the eighth album ,"8", which precedes the European and Italian tour, starting in February 2019. So, after four years, the historic band comes back on the scenes and presents a new album of unreleased tracks, preceded by the single Bottiglie Rotte.
"8" is the eighth album of a band that, while continuing to evolve in its approach to music and without ever stopping to experiment, has managed to involve a wider audience. "8" is the stylization of time that turns on itself, it is the representation of the infinite, it is the occasion to redefine a starting point after the individual pauses, starting from where it all started. But it is also and above all an album of careful reflection on the present time.
