Colourful Nights, now in its eighth edition, is an important action of territorial marketing led by the Municipality of Cagliari to promote an integrated offer of activities on summer evenings (culture, shopping, gastronomy, guided tours), offering tourists and residents (in town and in the coastal resorts) the idea of an open and friendly town.
For ten dates, Cagliari and its historic centre in particular will stay open until midnight.
The initiative aims to give to the citizens and to the tourists a complete experience of the town: walking through the vibrant streets of the city centre and going shopping, discovering suggestive itineraries, drinking a good aperitif and tasting some local specialities in one of many restaurants of the historic centre.
An efficient service is provided by public transport, thanks to seven Ctm bus lines (1, 30, 30R, M, PF, 9 and 7Notte) running after midnight: http://www.ctmcagliari.it/
