The building was erected in 1897 on a stairway located between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Pola.
The balance of the façade and the uniformity of the openings emphasize the austere appearance of the building. On the roof of the building a statue of an angel towers over a redundant decoration. The central part is emphasized by a horizontal decoration resting on a stone base of irregular size.
