The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is situated in Stampace district, close to piazza del Carmine. The ancient temple, destroyed by bombing in 1943, was a fine example of Gothic-Catalan architecture and was rebuilt in the 1950s.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 299 09100 Cagliari
It was built in the 17th century on the ruins of a small country church destroyed by a storm in 1643. It keeps an altarpiece by local painter Giovanni Marghinotti and an ancient spanish style painting portraying Our Lady of the Annunciation.
Piazza San Bartolomeo 09100 Cagliari
Built in the 17th century in the Catalan Gothic Style, it keeps a 16th century statue of Our Lady of Trapani, displayed in a Baroque style altar made in gilded wood, as well as some 16th century paintings and the 17th century marble altar frontal.
