The 23 anatomical models were moulded in the 19th century by the famous Florentine wax model maker Clemente Susini. The waxes bear the signature of the carver and are placed on wooden boards catalogued with captions.

The museum houses a collection of pictures, statues, silverware and vestments forming the liturgical equipment of the old church located in via Manno, destroyed by air raid in 1943. All these items were saved and collected by the Archconfraternity.

The underground cavity inside the Public Gardens forms a set of wide surroundings, connected with each other, which were built during the Middle Ages to extract blocks of stone. During World War II, this quarry was used as an anti-bombing refuge.

The museum collects selected items from the history of Italian Railways in Sardinia, since 1884. Documents, models and tools are on display along with the original furniture from the royal wagon destroyed in 1943 and the D744.003 steam locomotive.
