Volti Riflessi opens to the public. Portraits and self-portraits in dialogue with Anna Cabras Brundo, exhibition developed by Marta Cincotti and Simone Mereu and created by the Auravisiva Cultural Association with the contribution of Fondazione di Sardegna and the sponsorship of the Municipality of Cagliari.
The exhibition tells the genre of self-portrait and portrait, starting from the pictorial works of Anna Cabras Brundo (Cagliari 1919 - 2008), related to a series of self-portraits by contemporary Sardinian artists who enthusiastically joined the project.
Cabras Brundo, known mainly as a sculptress, has always preferred the portrait genre in painting and the selection of the works on display - about 50 portraits and self-portraits - returns a complete and heterogeneous picture of the artist's pictorial activity.
Opening the exhibition path are the works of sixteen artists currently active in Sardinia: Francesco Amadori, Giulia Baita, Mariano Chelo, Francesco Cogoni, Giorgio Corso, Mara Damiani, Simone Dulcis, Lea Karen Gramsdorff, Stefano Masili, Maria Grazia Medda, Alessandro Melis , Simone Mereu, Leo Pes, Laura Saddi, Franco Sale Musio, Rosaria Straffalaci, in addition to Costan Porcu.
