2023 Italian Table Tennis Championships

Italian National Table Tennis Championships

From Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th March at the PalaPirastu and in the adjacent CONI A and CONI B gyms there will be the Italian Championships of first, second and third category, and it will be the first time in Sardinia. The titles of the women's, men's and mixed singles and doubles will be awarded, under the organization of Federazione Italiana Tennistavolo (the Italian Table Tennis Federation), in collaboration with the FITeT Sardinia Regional Committee and with the patronage of the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Cagliari.
 
On Saturday 18th at 10:00 the three third category doubles will start, to continue on Sunday 19th at the same time with the singles qualifying rounds and on Monday 20th (10:00) with the draws. Tuesday 21st will be dedicated to second category doubles (mixed from 10:00 and women's and men's from 03:00pm) and Wednesday 22nd to singles (men's from 10:00 and women's from 01:00pm). On Thursday 23rd the doubles absolutes will be played (the mixed from 10:00 and the women's and men's from 02:00pm, with the semifinals starting at 05:00pm and the finals from 06:00pm), on Friday 24th the singles (at 10 :00 the start of the men's rounds and at 02:00pm of the women's) up to the round of 16 (draw starts at 05:00pm) and on Saturday 25th the quarterfinals (women at 10:00 and men at 11:00) and, in to follow, the semi-finals and finals.
 
In the Absolutes singles all the best Italian athletes will compete. In the men's sector the top ten seeds will be Mihai Bobocica (Aeronautica Militare), Matteo Mutti (Top Spin Messina), Antonino Amato (Marcozzi Cagliari), Andrea Puppo (Apuania Carrara), Niagol Stoyanov (Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Azzurre), Marco Rech Daldosso (Areonautica Militare), Leonardo Mutti (Areonautica Militare), John Oyebode (Tennsitavolo Sassari), Tommaso Giovannetti (Tennistavolo Genova) and Jordy Piccolin (Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Azzurre).
 
In the women's Top 10 there are Tan Wenling (CIATT Prato), Gaia Monfardini (Tennistavolo Castel Goffredo), Wang Xuelan (Tennistavolo Marco Polo), Debora Vivarelli (Centro Sportivo Esercito), Nicole Arlia (Tennistavolo Castel Goffredo), Chiara Colantoni (CIATT Prato), Arianna Barani (CIATT Prato), Valentina Roncallo (Tennistavolo Muravera), Giorgia Piccolin (Centro Sportivo Esercito) and Nikoleta Stefanova (CIATT Prato).
 
The event will be presented by the Sky Sport and Videolina journalist Valentina Caruso.
