Nothing is as it seems

Created by Science Gallery at Trinity College Dublin, Illusion playfully combines techniques used by magicians and explored by neuroscientists to uncover the many ways our minds are fooled by sensory deception.

This exhibition, curated by Michael John Gorman (founder of Science Gallery Dublin) and Richard Wiseman, joins magic with psychology, optical illusions with scientific reasoning, and confusion with clarity. It investigates how perception underpins the way we see, feel, think and understand the world. It shows how what we perceive is often radically different from the reality of what our eyes observe.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 10 pm (last entrance at 9.15 pm)
On July, every Thursday open until Midnight (last entrance at 11.15 pm )
Full price ticket 10€
Reduced-price ticket 8 € (students and over 65)
Free for children up to 6, journalists, people with a disability and their caregiver.
