Echi Lontani - Ancient music and instruments in historic settings
This event is related to the sections:
Concerts
Amor, fortuna
Echi Lontani was founded in 1995 by Ferruccio Garau and is directed by the Genoese violinist Dario Luisi. The festival, held annually in some of Cagliari's most magical settings, is dedicated to ancient music, exclusively played with period instruments or their modern replicas.
This year's festival will see a return to normal and to the pre-pandemic glory. The 28th edition will include 16 concerts, which will take the public back to the past, from the Middle Ages to the classical period, between roughly 1730 and 1820.
