The photo exhibition,created in collaboration with the Ukrainian Women Photographers Organization, is not only a display of photographs but also a narrative of the lives of Ukrainian female photographers united by a common history that began in February 2022, which played a crucial role in shaping the artistic visions of the authors. "Diary" offers not only an opportunity to reflect on contemporary political events that have directly impacted our daily lives for over a year but also a chance to get in touch with the intimacy of those who have experienced and keep experiencing such events. This intimacy is made tangible through the vision of images and texts that compose the personal diary of each artist. Photography becomes an evocative element of fears, hopes and awareness, going beyond mere reportage of events. The works on display offer us a privileged view of the complexity of reality, capturing the essence of experienced events with sensitivity and artistic research.

 

A portion of proceeds will be donated through UWPO to aid the Ukrainian people.
