A research project created by Casa Falconieri for Cagliari Paesaggio 2018

The Castle of San Michele in Cagliari from July 27th to September 30th 2018 houses "Landscape Transparencies". The research project of Casa Falconieri realized with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Foundation of Sardinia, the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Cagliari and the organization of Cagliari Paesaggio, is developed through two lines: "Landscape transparencies", that involves only Casa Falconieri and "Landscape transparencies" competition, born from the synergy between Casa Falconieri and Carlo Atzeni of the School of Architecture of the University of Cagliari, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and DICAAR - Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, with the collaboration of INARCH Sardinia and SARDARCH.

The theme of landscape is constant because is a complex theme that includes in itself different subjects related to time and memory; inside it, it is possible to place reflections about nature, about the relationship between the human being and the environment, about the sense of beauty and the hope it contains but also about the certainty of our responsibilities.

In the halls of San Michele's Castle it will be built an ephemeral space of landscape, in order to dream looking at the panorama and the art with a great installation. A figurative triangulation that in the spatial scan makes particular views, modifying the landscape and letting us to wander around a utopian but maybe real vision of the imagined landscape.
