European Heritage Days 2019

The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Cagliari adheres to the European Heritage Days with a free concert, that will be held at the entrance of the Punic Necropolis of Tuvixeddu in Via Falzarego.
The purpose of the exhibition, with twenty minutes of music with the great classics performed by the Santa Cecilia Polyphonic Choir of Cagliari, is to sensitize Union citizens about cultural richness and diversity, stimulating interest in historical-artistic heritage through the knowledge of the different cultural and landscape sites of the city.
The choir, conducted by Giovanni Pani, will perform the most famous arias by Giuseppe Verdi and Gioacchino Rossini and the Italian national anthem, written by Goffredo Mameli in 1847.
