Al Ard Doc Film Festival

This event is related to the sections: Cinema

15th Edition.

Al Ard is one of the most prestigious arab film festivals in Italy, sponsored by Associazione Amicizia Sardegna Palestina.

Our mission is to shine a light on Palestine and the Arab World's issues, as sometimes, here in the so called West, we seem to be very distant from that world, but we are actually so close. We even share the Mediterranean Sea.

The Arab World has been a precarious geopolitical scene for many years now, and we feel, as Palestine-Sardinia Friendship Association, to have the duty of trying and show what is like to live, resist and make art in the Arab countries, in order to overcome fear, which often lead to fuel stereotypes, prejudice and intolerance.
