221B Baker Street - Thousand faces of a Myth

This event is related to the sections: Exhibitions

The exhibition is curated by the Comics International Centre

The exhibition celebrates the 130° anniversary of the publication of "A Study in Scarlet", the myth of Sherlock Holmes, the famous detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, through literature, cinema, comics and television.

The main part of the exposition comes from Maurizio Trudu's private collection, who has collected for 20 years many precious "pieces" from all over the world; valuable volumes, including many first publications, magazines, comic books, letters and autographs, posters, movies, tv series and memorabilia.

The exhibition will be enriched by multimedia material provided by the students of the Artistic School "Foiso Fois" of Cagliari, with their teacher Beatrice Artizzu. Together, they will create an interactive map of London in the 19th century,
